M emories of you

M oments in time sewn with needle and thread

O n a beautiful quilt of Oriental designs

R adiant colors of red, white, and black

I  shall sew memories of you

E mbroidered with love

S titched by hand one square at a time

Very moving, Debileah. The action of sewing together a quilt is like putting the pieces of your life back together, and the warmth of your son's love is like the warmth of the quilt. This poem reveals the healing process nicely. Bless you....

This is really beautiful & creative. I love the idea of stitching memories in a patchwork quilt that is, essentially, our lives. (: The love that you hold for your son is evident in this piece & it's gorgeous description and language. Great job. (:
