My Costume Jewelry

My Costume Jewelry

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

There is an elegance in my costume jewelry

Quite exquisite are the memories that each piece holds

More precious are these tokens than silver or gold

Each earing, each necklace that I have worn

Remind me of a time, a place and a season

Tiny trinkets to treasure when I grow old
