Raindrop Kisses

Raindrop Kisses

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

The raindrops kissed the earth

As the winds whispered out your name

Teardrops formed in heaven

Touched ever so gently to the ground

All God's angel's cried

The day my baby died

And I wept, too

Teardrops formed in heaven

Touched ever so gently to the ground

The raindrops kissed the earth

As the winds whispered out your name

Such sadness meets the beauty of your pen and leaves a tear on my cheek. Exceptional poem, Sharon

I felt a slight chill tremor my body as I read this poem. Muted yet powerful because of it. Thank you.

Very, very beautiful. It had a gentle feel and flow all the way through. Lovely sentiments almost like a prayer. Well done! And thank you for being the first to enter my contest! ~ Hugs Helena
