TiredA Poem by Deborah Leah KrempaTired hands aged with time Hard to believe they belong to me What a mere ten years can do Sooner or later life catches up to you Every line and wrinkle upon your face Tells of a different time A different place Tired feet that ache with pain From walking so many miles Sometimes I find it hard to smile Too many troubles Too many worries Everyone is in such a hurry Me? I just got too damn tired of it all So I looked into the mirror As I wrote this all down Before I fall asleep To dream Of another time Another place
