AmandaA Poem by Deborah Leah KrempaAll they could see were the headlights Of the oncoming vehicle All he could hear were the screams Of the child sitting next to him That's when he knew he was going to die He had to save his little friends life That's when the angel's came rushing down From heaven's gates unto this earthen floor Out of his body his spirit soared as with eagle's wings on high
She held her baby in her arms Wrapped him in her wings Fed and nurtured him While her time on Earth Sang to him sweet lullabies She was an angel in disguise
These two friends died not alone For it was together they were beckoned home
There is nothing that can take the place of a mother's love
dedicated to: my son's friend in life and in death Amanda Sarver
