If heaven is a place

If heaven is a place

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa
"

(just my thoughts)

"

If heaven is a place

I wonder can you touch

Hug and embrace

See the smiles on the faces

of little children

I really wonder

about heaven

Is it happy all the time

Do you ever miss your old friends

Can you visit now and then

On angel's wings and prayers

If heaven is a place

Are there mountains and valley's

ocean's and sea's

Do the rivers flow with tears

when things aren't right down here

Guess they'd be flowing all the time

This is just something on my mind

I try so hard to believe

in something I can't see

If I could see you in my dreams

what would you look like to me

Would you be wearing wings

From human form

to angelic being

Who said that seeing is believing

Can I put faith in a mustard seed

Or a cross from which a Savior did bleed

If heaven is a place

I need to see his face

Simply beautiful. I love this piece. I've been struggling with my faith for a long time so I can relate to this. Great writing!
