This writer's block

This writer's block

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

so tired of the numbness

not being able to let go

of this uninvited pain

there is no escape

except to write

but it seems

my pen

has

grown

so weary

in the night

so i trudge on

through this writer's

block and keep writing

until i break on through to

the other side

feels like

i died

Lol.

This poem was simply perfection.

and simply sweet.

I love the vase layout.

So creative and the shape of the poem is wonderful...writing, when used as an outlet for our emotions, can be frustrating when we hit THE BLOCK!! I can certainly relate ;-)

i absolutely love this...i love the way you expressed that you have indeed hit some type of bottom in writing, but still yet you ARE indeed writing..this is great..
nice flow....the shape of your write is captivating..

This is such a creative poem. I absolutely love what you did with the shape, it is very effective. I know how it feels to be dead inside, I've had several depressive episodes in my life, so I can so relate to this piece too. You did a wonderful job of showing your agony and frustration. I hate having writer's block. Anyway, great writing!
