No Remorse

No Remorse

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

the drunk driver

that killed you

he feels no remorse

he claims annesia

of course

and he's angry

and he feels it's not fair

to spend his time in prison

for what he has done

oh dear bobby

for what he has done

my heart is so broken

and my arms are left empty

there's a hole that ripped

through my very soul

not a day goes by

not even an hour

that i can forget

what this man has done

he took away my only son

for the rest of my life

for all of my days

i always remember

his foolish ways

ten years in prison

he still can call home

i wish you could

oh dear bobby

look what he has done
