february snow

february snow

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

the february snow is like a blanket

shrowding the earth, the houses and the trees

much quieter than usual the city streets

we had a rainstorm just last week

it's cold and it's lonely

it's dark and it's dreary

as my eyes become teary

thinking about the way our lives have turned out

spring brought forth death, sadness and sorrow

summer gave no hope for tomorrow

autumn the leaves did fall

winter became bipolar's dreaded call

the deadliest winter of them all

you have an amazing pace of flow, passionate wording defines your thoughts, expressed using vibrant
specific focus, one gets caught in the mighty river flowing from your pen, metaphorically imagined
draws the reader to ponder, "febuary snow" there is a blissful chill creating a cold, wintery emotional
effect, the opeing imagery really depicts the scenery of cold perfectly, as the imagery that follows
reflects a reaction which encompasses the surroundings and detail, heartstirringly powerful, exceptionally
well written, its a gray portrait painted using sadness as the canvas, loved the sculpted form.
its meaning is projected and hitsthe reader in a subtle brilliant way, indeed, a real pleasure to read.

This is full of sorrow but very well composed.
The worst of circumstances does indeed bring out the best poetry.

The poem's message is both sad and bleak. The descriptive imagery further enhances the forlon intensity in the works.
