My life will be better in 2008! A Poem by debileah

M y life shall be better in 2008 as I won't cry as much as I did in 2007

Y ou  just wait and see, as I have kissed 2007 good-bye, thank heaven

 

L ittle things I will not allow to get the best of me

I  will go back and attend college and further my schooling

F or when I do these things I will be much happier within myself

E veryone of my daughters will be so proud of me

 

W hat they want the most is for their mom to be independant and happy

I  shall start making plans to find a cute furnished apartment very soon

L eaving the kids will be a hard thing for me to do, but I need to grow up

L eaving the grandkids will be hard too, but I have my life to live too

 

B eing a writer of poetry, I would love to publish my own book in 2008

E xpensive as it might be, I hope I can manage to do so this year

 

B eginning of this year, I hope to quit smoking cigarettes

E ach night I plan to turn in earlier as I stay up too late at night

T ake better care of myself, my health is of dire concern

T hese are some of the things I plan on doing with my life in 2008

E arly morning to watch the sun rise and set aside time to write and draw

R ead more books to expand my knowlege, wisdom and creativity

 

I  hope the year ahead is much brighter than the one I leave behind

N ow as I enter the new year of...
