This old house

A Poem by debileah
"
true story
"

Too bad we can't afford a wrecking crew.

Tear down this old house and get on with our lives.

The memories just aren't worth the cost of living here.

Everything is in dire need of repair.

The roof leaks and it holds five layers of roofing.

The plaster is cracking on all of it's walls.

The floors creak and the wood is dryrotting away.

The windows all need replaced and the front porch is a disgrace.

The ceilings are caving in here and there.

The eavestrophs have nearly fallen off.

Too bad we can't afford a wrecking crew.

Tear down this old house and get on with our lives.

The memories just aren't worth the cost of living here.

Everything is in dire need of repair.
