If I am going  to be homeless I am going to make my way to Toledo. They can't get $450 for me. No electricity, no money for me. I am going to ask them to send what they can. I have a plan for this trip. Shade and sleep during the hottest parts of the day.  A T-shirt as a hat. Carry food, water, and clothing. Garbage bags for rainy days. Clothes and paper, journal, map and one book. Small pillow and blanket, tools.

Days, sunny: wear sweats, t-shirt, shoes

Days, rainy: shorts, green T and tennies

Nights, sunny or rainy:  Ratty sweats Crappy fall shirt, white, boots, and a towel over pack for reflection.

Walk nights, sleep in hot parts of days. Good sweats for city walking. Call home 1 time every 3 days.  Collect and on Sundays.  Find soup kitchen in Waco, Dallas, Texarkansas, Little Rock, Memphis, Nashville, Louisville, Cinncinati, Dayton, Findlay, Bowling Green.

     Leg 1 Waco 1 week at most. Aug. Leg 2 Dallas 1week to cross 8/2 and prepare for 2 weeks. Leg 3 Texarkana 2weeks 9/14.  Leg 4 Little Rock 2 weeks. 9/18. Leg 5 Memphis 2 weeks. 10/1. Nashville 3weeks. 10/21.  Louisville 1 week. 10/28. Cincinati 2 weeks. 11/11.  Toledo 2 weeks. 11/24.

Sanity:  Talk to Sasha.  Learn Japanese on the road. Remember to make calls home.  Calculate the savings on the road. Try to attend church every Sunday. I need a flashlight, batteries, 2 2-liter bottles for water, 1 bag of dogfood and jerky.  Take city buses when possible.  Id. Parks with camping, churches, shadow and rest stops. Maintain cleanliness.
