gray is the color of my hair

silver highlights under a full moon

lines of age and wisdom written on my face

eyes that have grown tired with time

yet still see pain and beauty

hands that are weathered by work

yet still strong enough to hold the ones that i love

close unto my heart

feet standing on solid ground

i stand strong against the wind

i love this poem, its very well written, and captures the image in perfect moonlight reflection,
has an ethereal glow about the entire vision, created with a rolling emotional effect,
"gray and silver" this is penned certain smoothe, passionate grace in light of the heartfelt
meaning, the fine details are brushed upon the readers mind, as the portrait comes to life,
to speak of weathered heart, cast against the wind, deb, this is beautifully haunting, excellent writing.
