My room

My room has black satin curtains with white lace.

There are pillows to match all over the place.

A black, white and red embroidered quilt on my bed.

An old antique shelf where I keep the books that I've read.

A beautiful rolltop desk and an ergonomic chair.

My room and I make a perfect pair.

It's a place to relax and rest my head.

I just love my waterbed.

When the world outside seems so crude.

It's a wonderful place to seclude.

The carpeting is luxurious and shag.

Of such comfort I try not to brag.

Okay, so I woke up this morning.

Wrote this poem, cause my room is so boring.

This is almost humorous and yet ai remember a time when I actually described my bedroom to someone in almost these words. No lace, no ergonomic chair, but the black red and white color scheme is really quite familiar! Great work!
