Christmas eve

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Christmas Eve

A Poem by debileah

Christmas carolers outside my window pane.

Sleighbells ringing on a horse drawn carriage.

Mistletoe hung in the parlor of my home.

Just like a Currier and Ives greeting card scene.

An angel with a star atop of a green fir tree.

You can hear the church bells chiming in the distance.

What a wonderful time of the year the season brings.

With snow covered lawns this Christmas Eve.

Children excited about Christmas presents.

Gingerbread men and sweet eggnog.

Christmas dinner with the trimmings and all.

Anticipating the coming New Year.
