Quicksand

Quicksand

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Quicksand!

A Poem by debileah

Quicksand is what I'm sinking into since I met you.

Unsure if I can roll out of this alive or not.

I can't seem to find firm ground to stand upon.

Can't you see what you've been doing to me?

Kicking me down and making  me frown.

Slipping further underneath the earth.

And being swallowed up by your evil pride

Not wanting to die by your side.

Do not dare to dig my grave.
