CancerA Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa
I shall not walk gently unto my death. I will violently struggle to catch my last breath.
Cancer is no one's friend, it will definately be my end. For I refuse to give up my cigarettes, as I scream out my regrets.
Here in my last moments this foe, eating away at my lungs and my brain. As I lie helpless and writhing in such excruciatingly unbearable pain.
This shall surely be my demise. Until my hearts stops beating I'll know not peace. © 2008 Deborah Leah Krempa |
