Ode to the unsung hero, the one who gives his life for another.

Darling human being, you are the father's, mother's, son's and daughters;

Whom risk their lives everyday, you save us.

You live on through our memories, you have given your all, we honor you.

A police officer, fireman, soldier at war, anonymous bystander

The one who rushes to the scene, with only one thought on his mind,

Not one thought of his own fate.

He is the one whom stands in front of the gun, his brother behind him.

He is the one whom takes the bullet, first, he is the unsung hero.

He is the one whom without a second thought, rushes into the fire,

He is the one not afraid, to be burned alive, he is the unsung hero.

His name is not of importance, he seeks not fame, he is unique.

He is the one, whom touches our hearts, with his good deed.

We miss him in our lives, we mourn for him, we grieve with him.

We salute you, the unsung hero!
