Walk Away Joe...

Walk Away Joe...

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Walk away Joe...
As If I was never here
Leave me standing all alone
Kiss not these tears away

As they stream down my face
Walk away Joe...
As far as you can run, just go
Yet, begrudge me not as you shun me

Just walk away Joe, like you and I never did exist
Offer me a handkerchief, for my tears fall like rain
Each time in vain, I speak out your name, just walk away, Joe.
