Life Saver

You were my life saver,

            The whole world seemed
to move on not noticing
                        there was this huge hole
                                              in the universe
                                                          you once filled.

            They said it was just a matter
  of time but I still thought
                      you'd manage to save yourself,
                                            as you've always saved me.
                                                                  I was wrong.
