Feeling Tiny In this Darkness
She sits in the darkness Hoping for a dance Looking to the future Singing her soul to sleep again! With Angels to fly Trying to stay a float They say she is holding on And slowly sinking the boat! She does not want to go outside this night It’s too cold For the Angels are crying Saying things are not right... Things should be starting to change But the emptiness Just doesn’t understand! He might be there to push her aside Make her cry, while he holds her down Leaving her bruised Laughing at her hurt As He walks away Where is the change she prays! Divide and conquer Hold and lose Evade from the rear Sing her soul to you! In the struggle Between life and death Sometimes the survival Is not the only way that's left! If we mark the spot, that we do not understand. We will learn to late the penalty For such arrogance is annihilation in the plan.. As she typed her thoughts away Working to deliver Feelings that rise like deltoids To delve into demagogue of emotions Drains her once again As the devil hands find her young body once again... Feeling tiny in this space of darkness I feel, with one day feeling so very real! When will it End.. Debbie Brooks... © 2015 Deborah Brooks-Langford |
