In the midst of the night

In the midst of the night

A Poem by Debanjalee Sen

There she slept like a kind soul, with a little smile on her face,

Seemed to me as if she had amassed all the wealth of the world.

Shall I ask her in the midst of the night, or shall I wait for the dawn to break!

It looked to me as if your touch had embraced her in dreams!

Shall I ask her at the midst of the night? Or shall I wait for the dawn to break!
