No Bones

 

All the layers peeled away.

The former me has been decayed.

Somehow my death has been delayed.

Now I’m waiting in the shade.

I’m a ragdoll in the grass.

I pray for my time to pass.

I’m left staring at the sky

While the sun is in my eye.
