Understanding Darkness

Here's one I wrote when I was deep in thought. Humans fear what they cannot understand, and love what they can. And yet, no matter how much you try to understand, you are still blind.

A peircing scream.
You cannot see,
Darkness closes in,
Flows through your blood.
Another, Another,
It calls your name.
Go to the light,
Rid of your fear.
For the scream was yourself,
And now you shine bright,
Yet still,
You have no sight.
