LyricA Chapter by Death Girl
Lyric POV
The new girl Rebel is in our first two classes. I know that Ash would be mad if I would become friends with her but she helped me this morning and she didn't have to. She sits by me in both classes and I want her to be in the rest of our classes but knowing Ash he will get upset about it. This girl looks so awesome like someone we would be friends with if we didn't have our family to worry about. In first period she tried to talk to us but I knew we couldn't. I know that Ash only showed her to class for helping me. I wounder if it would be a bad thing if we had a friend who knew. Then we would have someone on the outside to vent to and be around. During the whole class I just sit there thinking about the pros and cons to becoming friends with the new girl. Class ends before the bell does today and Mr. Cullen want her to tell the class about herself. This is good to know more about her before I bring up being friends with her to Ash. "I am Rebel Rose Night. I moved here from New York. Before New York I lived in Ohio, Washington, Alaska, Florida, South Dakota. California, Mexico, Canada, and Paris, France. I love to go hunting and fishing with my dad. I work cars when we need the extra money. I can rebuild engines, I change the oil, and I can replace anything that needs to be replaced. I can also fix four wheelers, and motorcycles. I have a poem published in a book and I have an Editor's Choice Award as well for that poem. Sometimes when someone needs pictures drawn for there book they come to me. Back in Mexico I helped one of my friends family with construction," She said and everyone was in awe of this girl. I mean she is so talented. I wonder what else she can do. We still have like five minutes before the bell rings I debate on if I should talk to Rebel or not. What could it hurt? "Hey, I am Lyric. You helped me out this morning and I just wanted to thank you for that," I said "No problem," She said and doesn't even look up from here drawing. "What are your other classes?" I asked. She pulls out her schedule and hands it to me and goes back to her drawing. I look at her schedule and we have all the same classes. I just have a free period where she has weight training. Ash has that class so I just sit in there with him. "We have most of the same classes. I just don't have weight training I have a free period but my twin does and I usually go with him to that class," I said to her and set her schedule back on her desk. This time she doesn't say anything. That is when I noticed that her eyes are glassed over black and she is no longer drawing. I look at what she was drawing and it was like hell. It had fire on one half and what looked to be like demons on the other half of the page. Right as I am about to poke her the bell rings and her head snaps up and her eyes goes to one blue and one green. She gets up and walks out the class. Ash gives me a look like what just happened. I shake my head because I have no idea what just happened. Ash and I walk to AP/Pre-Cal in silence. © 2013 Death Girl |
