Death of a loved man

Death of a loved man

A Poem by sadxdeathxsuicide
"

a young woman sits with her dying husband in her arms , staying with him until he has finally passed into heaven.

"

Crouching , caressing , crying,

His head hangs,

Her hands heal him,

She sighs somberly ,

Waiting , worring , wooing.

Finally, frailing forward

He hears heavens harps,

Death devours diligently

Alone , awaiting,

She sorrowfully sits.

Nice and simple. ^^ I admire the depressed and narrative tone in this piece. It sort of sets you in the mournful mood. The style is pretty neat; something that I haven't yet had the pleasure of reading. And despite how limited it is, you seem to have put a lot of detail in it with your use of asyndeton (deliberate ommission of conjunctions). Excellently done. :)
