New Smile

New Smile

A Poem by Deanna Johnson

never seen a smile so big until I looked at you a glare on my eyes from yours like as if the sun was too bright ,.never heard a heart beat so strong as if to hear a lion roar ceasing all the noise and all the pain man what a face I see when I look at you never felt a grip so stable no shake no stumble as if God had built you with perfect balance man you have such talent joy is what it is you pass from one soul to another the fruitful delight for life knowing you have passed the destruction that was waiting for your utter demise despising your uprising to the top to look down from the heavens knowing there's.a spot for me here amongst this peace a wind you've never heard so clear stars you've never seen sparkle likes diamonds a moon that becomes your mirror reflecting the new you
