Dead in Love

Dead in Love

A Poem by Anthony Q Armstrong

Hearts break,
Love is lost.
It strikes at you like a coiled snake.
But you never know the cost.
The cost of love,
and the cost of life.

Hearts mend,
And love is found.
It's something you learn to defend.
