A meaningful poem about my baby, Caitlynn :x

She is the reason I am living,

Full of love that keeps on giving.

I'd runaway with her,

Hand in delicate hand.

I love her with all my heart,

I die every time we are apart.

If she wants to leave, I won't stop her,

But when she's gone, my heart will drop.

When we are together,

I know we are forever.

Nothing can pull me away,

I am yours', forever here to stay.

When I see your dull eyes shine,

I know you are eternally mine.

Great write, but more importantly you seem to understand that love is not a deed of ownership, your line ' If she wants to leave, I won't stop her, But when she's gone, my heart will drop.' We do not own people, and if we really do love someone we want them to be the best they can be and sometimes that means letting them go. To often in relationships we adjust our selves to keep the other happy. Over time there have been so many adjustments and muffled words that neither person is the person the other fell in love with. You have become strangers and so it is not surprising that the relationship falls apart.

To love is to provide all the freedom and space you can muster and hand it to the other. Say I will let you fall so that you can learn to stand, but my hand will be there if you will let me help you rise once more. To love is to say that your partners actions cause you great pain but still to provide passage so that there soul can experience what it needs to grow. Any relationship is not to bind two souls together but to know that no matter how far the distance something more special than belonging and obligation exists, unconditional love.

Your a very lucky man, your a very special couple and this is a great write.

I applaud you for the correct use of "yours' " :) not many people use that anymore. And yes, I agree with Savannah, your gf is lucky to have you. I'd melt if my bf ever wrote me a cute poem like that, but alas, he is not quite the romantic type lol.
