My girlfriend wrote this song.

Looking back at the old me,

oh it is a song, I knew it! Tell her it absolutely doesn't suck, its very raw and emotional. I also thought this line in particualr was very well written: Life is fake, life is a farçe.

I write songs, I play them, they are what they must be: An expression of the inner world as a melody that makes a mind hum. Though the lyrics remain as dark as this life can be, they say a meaning that no one likes to accept: Life is what is, no matter how you look at it. It's a song I would listen, be it in acoustic or death metal! Love it!!

Its very thought provoking. Someday are just like she writes it. Most of us wonder around pondering the purpose, the point to it all. No one can guarantee the out come of each life as it varies.

We have control to persevere to pull our selves up and dust our selves off. We have a choice to lay there and do nothing when we get knocked down or get back up and say is that all you got.

Growing up Id tell myself out there in this world someone is suffering far worst than I am.

I think that this song could be very good, set to the right music. It would be better with a positive ending. While there are things in life that we can't change, sometimes very bad things, whenever we get a choice we have the opportunity to make things a little better. Positive thinking does help, and a hope of something better in the future helps even more. Also, recognize that whenever people say things will get better they are just trying to help. Anyway, it's a nice song.
