Wyoming

A Poem by dead poet 79

It was that one time,
When we where alone together,
In that town,
For the whole weekend.
We drank alittle bit.
We had so much fun.
Each night,
One was more tipsy than the other.
Switching off each night.
We kissed
Held each other all night.
That,
Was the best time I have ever had.
All of those little bars,
We went into.
They where so cheesy
But, yet so much fun.
We made each other,
Laugh all weekend long.
It was such a great time.
We went to the football game,
Remember how hot it was,
They ran out of bottled water
Before half time.
My uncles bald spot got burned.
And, that really drunk guy infront of us.
He was so hilarious.
I wished that weekend,
Could have lasted forever.
Everything seemed so surreal.
But, alas we had to get back to
Our regular lives and our jobs.
I often drift back to that time
We shared together.
Remember we you danced for me?
You are my heart and soul.
My love has never faded for you.
I will cherish that weekend we
Spent together till my soul leaves my body.
You will always be the one for me.
