war? Conflict?

the men keep falling
still they want more
more
and
more
when will they see
that we can not win
this vile "conflict"
every year
this war
is called something else
is this to distract us all
thinking that we will not realize
that this has lasted longer
than world war II
more than a year longer now
we took out the entire nazi army
in less time
and they covered more area
are we still looking for Bin Laden?
or
was that just a ploy to get into Iraq?

we must send more young men
to the "war" "conflict"
only to die in vein.
to come home in boxes

can finish up what
