The Story of Kate: The Awakening

The Story of Kate: The Awakening

A Poem by dead poet 79
"

Part 4 of the series

"

The Doc came out to the farm
Every few weeks
Checking on kate and the baby.
He told the old coupleto not
Say anything in town about the
Girl and the baby.
"She is probably just a runaway
And doesnt want to be found."
Old man "well what about diapers
And things like that?"
Doc "i wil supply them until the young lady
Is able to get on her feet."
This really confused the old couple
But, they did as the doctor wished,
The next night, Kate awoke.
Old Lasy, "Well, hello honey im Ester. What is your name?"
"Where am I?"
"Your fine dear, you came to our doorstep
With a baby. We have been taking care of you."
"Wha..What baby?"
"Oh dear, you dont remember anything do you?"
Ester told kate the story of the last week.
Kate was so confused.
Not remembering or knowing anything that
Lead her up to this point.
Kate fell back to sleep.
