The Story of Kate: Doctors Visit

The Story of Kate: Doctors Visit

A Poem by dead poet 79
"

Part 3 of the series

"

She came up to a farm.

What strength she had left

She ran to the door.

And knocked weakly

It was early morning.

An old lady came to the door.

"OH! Lord! What has happened to you?"

Kate fell to her knees.

"Honey come quick!"

Old lady helped Kate to

Her feer and into a bedroom.

"Dear what is going on here?"

"I dont know she was at the front door

this way. Get me some scissors and

         warm water quick."

The old man fetched the supplies.

And they cleaned up  and took

Care of Kate and the baby.

They phoned for the doctor

And he made his way

Out to the tiny farm house

That afternoon.

Kate and the baby where fine

And the doc told the couple

Just to let them rest

For a few days.
