The Story of Kate: The Saga ContinuesA Poem by dead poet 79Part 2, as always comments/ suggestions welcome
She carried the baby through The woods The umbilical cord still attached Blood and sweat was everywhere How did she not know it was time, Now she was searching for Someone Anyone. Her memory was cloudy at best, How she ended up In the woods She did not know. Little bruises were on Her arms and legs. She barely remembered Even being pregnant. The last thing she remembered Was a diner A man Then she woke up in the woods With a pain, Then the baby came She didnt know What day it was Wasnt even sure Of the year. Now here she is IN the middle of the woods With a baby in her arms © 2009 dead poet 79 |
