Decision Time

Decision Time

A Poem by David Theaker
"

Our rage we have towards those who have wronged us.

"

And in my anger, my rage, and my ire,

I fill with hate, and beam with flame.

My friends leave for their future,

Their families, their money…And I to blame

All you fools!

Fools love for the material!

You cons love nothing,

But the self is so easy to please.

Selfish, cold, egotistical being!

Eat what is said like that of the bread.

I pray it sour and poison to torture your souls for eternity.

Words devoured please pierce hearts deserved,

And bleed upon the ground which they worship.

Lackluster giants of life you have been so extended,

While others of our own have suffered The long.

Forever your regret your actions (or lack thereof), but you never change!

I feel for those poor souls like I

Who will die and never hear from the beloved.

(To even name those ‘beloved’ is damning on myself.)

I loathe them, and wish their lives burn until they modify.

Or I die before.

For I have no care for life or self, or others.

I want that, which is anger, to die along with me.

You, who have no care, please live without me.
