Cursery RhymeA Poem by Diletta "DeadPoet" ShakespeareOur world in words.
Within the darkest paths of the most treacherous mind Disgraceful foes of innocence transform into kind Wandering among the labyrinths of yet uncarven scars Of lurking burdens and exiled to oblivion stars
Nobility walks condemned inside the doom of night And captured by the rays of darkness it shrinks in fright How can the most foul of creatures mask its dirt; When neither dawn nor night could prevent any hurt?
Echoes like music the whispering of a feeble voice Whose inevitable grief its gentle chants destroys No harm should be cast upon the fools' disgrace No more damnation beyond their own foolish face
A valley of liars and deceits our land has become A gathering of ham actors in a theatre yet to cram Words malplanted inside their shallow brain And of unknown ignorance our souls they stain
No breathing entity dares to live before their form As if the skies were leaking the most venomous storm Creatures with no meaning they are, an army of stones Shaped by the carpenters' hands and bred in clones
The fairness of yester years perished through dread Beauty is horribly distorted and honesty is dead Once guilt shall pierce our being like sharp swords And our now carven scars shall silence no more; They will blast in words.
