All Revved Up(Anywhere I Go)A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Just another metaphoric poem The road is an
endless barrage of wheels
passing me by or shrinking in
my rearview mirror. Every mile
driven is a burden on
the tread that keeps my
mind from slipping. Yet stopping
would be an accident
waiting to happen and a pile of metal
and flesh would be the
strain that would cause My engine to
cease. So on I drive no matter how
rocky or slippery the pavement
gets, even if I have
to drive on my rims. Cause till my
pistons blow that road will
never end, so neither will
I. © 2012 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
