Tipping The ScaleA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE) I
get a grip on the rope In
this tug of war But
without a firm stance I’d
be better off If
it slipped through my grasp. I
ate my spinach everyday Just
like Popeye But
with the binding on my dictionary Like
brand new I
might as well ate chocolate everyday And
enjoyed the chew. I
saved every dime Till
my piggy bank burst But
without my heart being stolen From
the vault I
might as well be living in poverty. Living
life with the scale Tipped
one way I
robbed myself of half a life That
justice can never serve. © 2012 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
