Tunnel VisionA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE) Beyond
the golden archway The
passages are stonewalls Lined
with moss; The
only sign of life. Each
steps sinks Into
the soft dirt, Drying
instantly to leave A lasting
impression Of my
existence. Turning
back creates double vision; Neither
of them familiar. No
light can be seen At the
end of the tunnel Still
I am blinded by the fact It is
what gives me my vision To find
my way. The
cobwebs get thicker The
deeper I go Yet
weaker in resistance. The
end comes swiftly Though
a long time in the making. So
I dig my own hole So the
ceiling can cave in. © 2011 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
