Just Another Day Of WarA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE) A clash of
the Titans Is all the
rage upon the world’s stage. When
entertainment is cheap The price
is too high to pay. Betting on
the condor While the
plane disintegrates Is why
angels are afraid to fly. Watching a
zebra verses a lion Is the norm
on family night Yet the
mystery remains Of why red
is in every school’s colors. The
tradition of generations Passing on
wisdom to the youth Is full
steam in reverse. A coin in
the wishing well Is as
useful as a rabbit Pulled out
of a hat, The
applause creates an echo As hollow
as the beer cans From
yesterday’s celebration Of a
leader’s death. © 2011 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
