The RiverA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Inspired by Liza Vassallo's poem "The Knot"
Within
the river’s currents Is the
thirst for knowledge you seek. It
will pull you through unfamiliar places, The
rush quick and scary But
it will expand your minds horizons. Sometimes
it will pull you under To a
place you never want to go. When
you resurface you’ll find A better
appreciation for The
air you breathe. So
jump right in and let uncertainty Fill
you up with spiritual wisdom Cause
standing on the shore Will
leave your soul high and dry. © 2011 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Featured Review
