The World Where I ExistA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)To explain would be futile and unnecessary. In
the world where I exist leaning
towers are a hip expression of
today’s social values. Abandoned
buildings are power plants keeping
everyone’s dreams alive. In
the world where I exist clouds
never cry, just fade away like
fifteen minutes of fame. The
sun only shines with written consent from
Greenpeace and the E.P.A. In
the world where I exist nights
can only end with
the rolling of the credits. Politicians
only live in
the fantasies of the rich. In
the world where I exist I
am just a figment of God’s imagination and
for that I give thanks. © 2011 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Author's Note
