Seeing Too Much(Is A Form of Blindness)

Seeing Too Much(Is A Form of Blindness)

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

The wizard’s eyes

Became as black

As the ritual of night,

For the crystal ball

Was full of salty water

From the pain

He could not see.

Fears dry drown

In the Dead Sea

Created by self-made immortality.

Images once foreseen

By his third eye

Bleed from fatal wounds

Through hearts treason.

His final breathes

Generate a dust storm

That will fade between

The boards in the floor

He was too mighty

To look upon.

Now six feet under

The flesh becomes a feast

For creatures not worth his time

As he burns in hell

Realizing with all his third eye saw

It was a blind soul

That became his demise.

A very dark and sinister tale. A sort of warning that few listen too. I enjoyed reading your story in a poem.

Very nice. I agree with the title and poem. Very well done.

Very, very well penned, the 3rd eye if opened can be a very powerful ability, powerful enough that it can literally drive someone insane if not understood, and developed correctly, Then as your words say " Realizing with all his third eye saw It was a blind soul that became his demise". Due to your character's lack of understanding, he must have used it in strange ways, which mucked up his Third Eye and what it truly was.

Oooh yes, this gets me in the mood for Halloween!

Now six feet under
The flesh becomes a feast

Food for the damned!

It was a blind soul
That became his demise
A fantastic ending for a horrific poem!

seeing too much is as bad as seeing too little, either way a great
deal is missed. in the end we are all equalized by death and then
the spirit and soul must give their defense. love your work!

I do believe when we open our mind too wide. Can make us lose it. Seeing the world for what it is. Can scare you? I enjoy the poem. Blindness of life and truth can leave us in the wrong place going in wrong direction. Thank you for the excellent poem.
