Just a poetry rant about those who want to change the image of Santa Clause and all the political correctness surrounding the holiday... Give me traditional.

 

Jolly Old St. Nick

Is a state of mind

To all the innocent minds

And those still young at heart.

Ho Ho Ho is the anthem of Joy

To every boy and girl

And that bowl full of jelly

Is very symbolic of

The big hearts that give

To those in need.

So what is this talk

Of an image change

And making Mr. Clause

More physically fit.

The only thing that should be trim

This holiday season is the tree.

So let tradition,

That was good enough

For generations

To stand,

So let me say Happy Holidays…

I mean Merry Christmas

Cause I don’t go for

That political correctness.

Politically, this is awesome, you know, all seems to be heading towards a change doesn't it? Even Christmas! Ridiculous! A thinner Santa?????????????? Nooooooooooooooooooo! lol He is fine as he is! lol
Every boy and girl needs that traditional view of Santa, I think! I am all for change if its positive but leave Santa alone, trimmer is the more accepted way though, right? Not!
