The Rainbow And Humanity

The Rainbow And Humanity

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

seeing this rainbow the other day got me thinking

"

Within the rainbow

is the same air I breathe

flowing so naturally

as the oxygen through my lungs.

Over the rainbow

is the very same heaven

that created us both,

each with our own unique traits.

The end of the rainbow

touches the same soil

I journey upon everyday

while discovering Mother Nature.

So it makes me think

that this rainbow is no different

then you and me…

So why does it’s colors

blend so harmoniously

for the world to see

yet colors still clash amongst humanity.

So why does it’s colors

A most profound poem, with a great message therein,we may never know

the answers to why the colors still clash among humanity, if only the world

could indeed live and blend in harmony, 'alas that cannot be,there will
always be a indifferences of life....

Superb Pen Dale!

Good question. Everything has its place and purpose, if we could only figure out what those are. I really like this, excellent job.

I love this, and the flow and rhyming are great
together. This is something to make one think.
Just the little subtle things are the most magical.

I think that rainbows are of course beautiful and so is life. I question also why humanity causes so many horrible things to happen, why people choose to be hateful. If only they could view this world as a beautiful place, rainbows and all. Thanks for sharing this! :)

Excellent write! Wonderful analogy. Your words do make one think and wonder, maybe even hope for an eventual "blending." I really like this.

I really enjoyed the first stanza. Especially the illustration that the air is inside the object being described. It makes it less of a thing, which you expand on in subsequent stanzas.

The punctuation at the end is also stirring, given the nature of the question being asked.

Wow. This was so powerful to think about. I loved the way you put that in. I didn't see it coming. This was amazing. One of my favorites I would think. Just the meaning behind it all, the comparision of humanity's color clashes with the rainbows. There's just no words to describe how I feel about this. THUMBS UP!!!
