Mechanical RhythmsA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE) The heart beats to a rhythm But not always the same one. The pace depends on the feeling Or emotions flowing through it. Poetry for me is emotions In its purest form So why taint it with Rules and regulations. I can only be me So when I speak in verse Forget the mechanical rhythms, I’ll leave that to the text books.
