Nature's Serenade

Nature's Serenade

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

 Sounds of pure droplets

Cascading over leaves and petals

Hums a silent tune of harmony

That can only be heard

Echoing through the chambers

Of the gentle at heart.

Soft pattering of liquid crystals

Massages Mother Earth’s sacred body

So she can sing a song of peace

From the core of her being

To the soul of humanity

As a reminder of God’s hope.

Rainbow kissed showers

Decant like fallen angel’s tears

After listening to the ballad

Of those blinded by faith

Causing an eternal glistening

Lighting the way like an answered prayer.

There is nothing like the miracle

Of nature’s serenade

For just look to the sky and see

It is always heaven sent.

How pretty Dale. Nature poetry is always a favorite, and you've done a fine job with this piece. I really love your imagery to go along with your words. it sets a wonderful stage as once take a stroll through the rain.
Lovely piece for a wonderful "lady", Mother Nature. Nice work!!

This is lovely Cowboy. The words are soft, sensual, a trace of touch.
These are beautiful lines: Rainbow kissed showers
Decant like fallen angel’s tears
After listening to the ballad
Of those blinded by faith
Causing a eternal glistening

This poem is like a ballad.

This is so beautiful.

"For just look to the sky and see
It is always heaven sent."

So true, I love the analogies between nature and life. So much corresponds with the two anyways, and it's a beautiful picture.

Dale, don't know, how you manage to do it, but you have created a small space of peace in a very chaotic world. Reading this poem, i find myself, listening to an early May morning shower, as i lay in bed. Given the onset of winter here, your poem reminds me that Winter shall pass and Spring will return. Than you for sharing this pastoral and lyrical poem with us.

Wow, this is a really beautiful poem. Decided I'd swing by and see what the Cowboy has been writing lately, sort of in a reading mood right now. You did not disappoint sir. You captured the serenade nature has been giving my neck of the woods very effectively. What is it about the rain that brings calm to those distressed and inspires thought to the thinkers? And then there's the way it brings inspiration to artists all over. Who would have thought water falling from the sky could bring such wonder? Although, maybe it's something that's been handed down since ancient times, because ancient people saw it as a miracle or the powers of dieties. You captured the happening very well, I'm happy to have stopped by.
