Party HeartyA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
Near empty bottles Strewed along the floor A few drip what remains Of yesterday’s joy. The carpet soaked With voluntary haze But the wet stench Is all too much. Dry vomit sticks To the couch From drunken words Becoming all too real. I know I am to blame, I was addicted to Her wild like ways Knowing she’d never stay To clean the mess she made. I am to blame for Ignoring my own advice, I partied hearty So now I will pay With this emotional hangover And the mess made of my soul. © 2009 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Featured Review
