In Those MomentsA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)I'm a hopeless romantic, so sue me, LOL
In those moments of good times It gives me no greater pleasure Then to share them with you. For it turns such treasured times Into priceless memories For two minds wrapped in A heart built for deuce. In those moments of sorrow We stand side by side As our hearts become pillars Of strength leaning on one another, Not even Hercules can knock them over. They say there is strength in numbers But here two is like a packed stadium. In those moments of disagreement Harsh words may get spoken But the sharp edges are padded By the faith in one another To ensure that the wounds Are always temporary. In those moments of passion We get lost in the heat of the night Causing the embers of desire To shine like a beacon. The sweat created between us Is the dew from a rainforest Ensuring desire won’t dry up And become extinct. Every moment of every day Says that we are without a doubt Forever love. © 2009 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Featured Review
